A native way of having more than one thumb on a range slider in HTML

Brecht De Ruyte proposes a new <rangegroup> element as part of Open UI and is seeking feedback. The element would allow grouping multiple <input type="range"> controls into a single component, with handle styling via the ::slider-thumb() and ::slider-segment() pseudo-elements.
